Sì Passione Eau de Parfum, a sparkling, fruity floral fragrance with notes of Rose & Woody Vanilla. A perfume for women who are passionate, feminine, and free.

The striking rich red color of the perfume bottle captures the essence of passion, and in Giorgio Armani's own words, is "an irresistible combination of grace, strength and independence of spirit."

Giorgio Armani Si Passione is the new flagship fragrance for Armani. I was invited to photograph the launch gala event for the fragrance by the Finnish branch of L’Oreal Group, of which Armani is part of as well.

The gala event was held to officially launch the fragrance within Finland and was attended by retailers and brand experts from all around the country.

L’Oreal held the event within the gorgeous Mustio castle landscapes near Helsinki, which set the scene for the red & black themed event. Big part of the event was photographing this theme and all the gorgeous outfits and the passionate energy of the evening.

From this event one of my main goals as requested by the client was to cover the elegance and fun of the gala style event while smoothly transitioning later in the evening towards the party and celebration of the launch.

Event Photography Pricing

Artisti esiintymässä lavalla valaistuna savulla, yleisö innostunut.

  • Whether you’ve got an internal event to have fun wih your employees, or external one to relax and talk business with your customers. Anything else goes too! 300€ for the first hour, then 120€ / hour.

    Includes a comprehensive, edited photo package, in various formats depending on your needs

  • When you’ve got a multi-day event, such as a festival or an exhibition and need an extensive coverage. Especially great for large scale events.

    Can be combined with the Event per hour pricing, if the event happens to be shorter on some of the days.

The Process

  • After getting to know my work and me as a person a little bit, I’d heartily recommend contacting me as soon as possible, in order to find out whether I’ve got your event dates available. While contacting me, it’s a great idea to toss in a tiny bit of information about the event, such as the location and type of the event.

    First meeting is always free of charge.

  • Usually I like to meet my clients through a video meeting or over a coffee when possible, to talk through the details, the values of the event and the brand, and what kind of photographic needs your event has. Perhaps you need some of the photography on the day already for your social media and marketing needs? No problem.

    Once we’ve settled on the dates and the plan you require, I’ll send you a contract, as well as an invoice for a reservation fee.

    Reservation Fee is 20% of the total sum, which will then be deducted from the final invoice.

  • I’ll send the final invoice a week before the event, with two weeks of payment time.

    I’ll also check on you if there’s been any final changes to the schedule, and in case there have been any important additions that need to be covered. This way we’ll make sure I’m in the right place at the right time.

  • I’m available through the event as scheduled, and am always happy to help you out if needed. Otherwise you’ll find me focused on catching the action and saving the greatest moments.

  • Phew, done. That was fun! Now it’s time for the post processing. I’ll send you a sample gallery within 48 hours of the event, or 72 hours in case of extensive travel.

    You’ll then get the final, full gallery of photos within two weeks, including 200+ edited photos per day, available for use inside a cloud based link for everyone you’d like to share it with. Photos will be in both full resolution, print ready files, as well as in social media sized files.

    Photographer keeps the right to use the photography on his website and social medias for marketing and promotional use.
